Pet Sitting

…. Annie has always been the “girl next door” whom neighbors and friends called upon to watch their animals.

There’s no place like home – you now can have peace of mind when you need to be away knowing your beloved family pets can be well cared for in their own environment, where they are most comfortable. Annie of All About Services will come to your home to provide high quality, personal, customized care so your pets have daily companionship, sleep in their own bed, keep their regular feeding and exercise schedule, have playtime with their favorite toys and avoid the stress and anxiety of a boarding kennel. Your pet’s health, happiness and well-being are Annie’s priority, as is the security of your home.

Annie’s forte is primarily cats and dogs, though there have been the occasional fish, bunnies, chickens, birds, tortoises, salamanders, and hermit crabs.  She prefers to leave the reptiles to the experts in that field. She has always loved animals. Her first was a stray kitten who showed up on the family doorstep when she was in 1st grade.  It took 10 days of begging, but their Father gave in and fed this beautiful little kitty her first meal in days. Little did he know, Annie and her sister had been sneaking food out to the kitty, already named Rosie, to be sure she stuck around until their dad gave in. Rosie, lived a long and wonderful life of 18 years, being dressed up, going for rides in a baby pram, following Annie everywhere she went whether it was to school, the park or to a friend’s to play.  There have been other dogs, “Animal” and “Tinkerbell” and cats since.

How many visits do I need per day?

The following are recommendations by Veterinarians….

  • Dogs: 3 visits/day to allow elimination and avoid stress and to reduce creating UTI risk or other problems; If they have a doggy door that allows all-day/night access, 2 visits may be sufficient for older dogs; 3-4 visits per day are highly encouraged for puppies
  • Cats: 1-2 visits/day; my policy requires a minimum of 1 visit per day; minimum of 2 visits per day recommended for kittens

Are you licensed?

All About Services by Annie is a licensed business, insured, bonded (which requires background checks), to provide peace of mind and protection for her clients.

Why a service agreement?

A comprehensive service agreement is completed to ensure Annie has necessary information to provide high-quality care for you, your home and pets, permission to be in your home in your absence, and authority to contact others in your behalf in the event of emergencies.  She is detailed in this process as she will prepare for most any eventuality, assuring that the right decision can be made in a crisis situation.

How do I pay you?

Checks made to All About Services are the preferred form of payment. Cash is welcome also.  Credit cards are not accepted at this time.

Services are prepaid.  Deposits are required to lock in and guarantee dates of service with the balance due 7 or 30 days (depending on if it’s a major holiday or not) prior to the start of service for most jobs.  Retainers are required for larger projects, which are replenished as the project moves forward.

What is your cancellation policy?

Life happens and plans change.  All About Services is happy to issue a deposit refund with a 7-day cancellation prior to the first scheduled visit (or 30 days for major holidays).  As a sole proprietor relying on this as her only income, when a date is booked and guaranteed in good faith, it is relied upon and anticipated as income once scheduled.  Other business that may conflict with your service dates are no longer considered and often turned away. Thus, it is always greatly appreciated when customers understand the reason for the advance notification.

Do you have references?

Absolutely. Former and present client names along with their contact information can be provided upon request. Additionally, please see the testimonial sections for assurance.
